Google today at its I/O event has announced two Chrome OS powered netbooks that will be manufactured by Samsung and Acer. The netbooks will be available in the US and six European countries in June
. As far as prices for these devices are concerned, Acer’s Chromebook will start at $349, whereas Samsung’s Chromebook will be priced at $429 (WiFi model) and $499 (3G model).
Both devices are powered by Dual Core processors, Samsung Chromebook has a 12.1-inch screen, built-in HD webcam, USB ports, memory card slot, and a cool 8.5 hours of battery life.
Acer Chromebook has a 11.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystalTM LED-backlit LCD, built-in HD webcam, USB ports, HDMI port, memory card slot, a battery that gives 6 hours of battery life, and much more.
